Sam’s Mini Suitcase

Here are a few images sent to us by Sam Thongrong, a visual artist from Chicago. He built a very compact Tagtool suitcase, using not an Arduino, but a breadboard-compatible clone called Boarduino.

WACOM Graphire4 (4″x5″) Tablet.
Sliders with 60mm Length of Travel.
The pushbutton is Allen Bradley 800 series (from ebay)
The NodeKit Drawing version 0.7, running on a Micro ATX machine with Window XP, and the Xtasy Radeon 9550 AGP Graphics Card.

He had to adapt the Arduino code to work with the Boarduino - click here to download Sam’s code.

I like the idea, that the red button is up of the faders.
or otherwise it would be the first “left hand” Tagtool!

    Great job, anyway!

    iink,

    Thanks.
The reason I put the button up there, because the button is taller than the faders and obstructing the left fingers that control the faders.

    You are right!
If I only rotate the tablet underneath, and voila the first “left hand” Tagtool!
But then again, the button will obstrust the right hand fingers of the “lefty” who is using that Tagtool as well!!!
